Finally revealed:
Officially to be released last week, we decided against publicly presenting our latest Formula boards just yet. But now, with the final ISAF registration date for Formula Production boards coming closer and closer, we feel it is safe to present our latest and greatest Formula boards, loaded with innovations and racing DNA.
A quick recap:
In 2007, ISAF overhauled the class rules for Formula windsurfing, requiring board designs to be frozen for two years in a row. So in 2008 and 2009, boards were identical. This continued in 2010 and 2011. And now, with 2012 around the corner, Starboard's next generation of Formula boards is here and will remain identical for 2013. By closely observing the deadline of ISAF registration, we are confident that only Starboard sailors will benefit from the latest developments in Formula board design until at least January 2014.
Designed and refined by some of the biggest names in Formula course racing, we are confident that any Formula sailor will love these new high-tech racing machines.
