Female windsurfing’s iconic twins enjoy their spell in the lime light after hitting the global information pages of euronews.net

Having dominated the PWA World Tour since their arrival in 1997, the Moreno twins, Iballa and Daida, have gone from strength to strength, amassing an unprecedented 18 world titles between them. Such a bold feat has not gone unmissed by the mainstream media, with European news network euronews.net only recently running a video article on the Pozo locals.

In ten years, Daida has won 14  world titles, with Iballa scooping 4, however in the video interview the twins seem unphased by the imbalance in the numbers, stating, ‘when we finish first and second, it’s like we’re both champions!’.

At present, both Iballa and Daida are at home in the Canaries preparing for another gruelling PWA World Tour season.
